the Volunteer Passport may be for you!

This
qualification is offered at Level 1 and Level 2

The
course involves putting together a portfolio of your
voluntary work, by highlighting the skills and knowledge you
are already using in your role.

Using
the day-to-day tasks you undertake as an example of your
work, you complete the units set out in the CVQ, covering
both performance and knowledge criteria.

Course
material and information is available to support you, plus
guidance from your Assessor, Leanne Cleaveley, covering
Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Newhaven, Lewes and District.
How
long does it take?
About the CVQ

The
CVQ is for people who are committed to volunteering and want
to be accredited for their achievements at Levels 1 - 3.
-
The
CVQ provides a means to recognise and accredit voluntary and
community activities and acts as a passport to your future,
be that more voluntary work, further training or paid work.
What sort of things would I be doing?

A
wide choice of units are available including preparing and
carrying out activities including Fundraising, Teamwork
skills, Development and Community skills as well as Time
Management, for example working in a shop, warehouse or
hospital.

Students
wishing to explore their creative side could take a further
course in Interior Design,
Decorative Painting Level 1
or Jewellery Making.
