Items we collect
Are you looking for a furniture and electrical collection service? Our operational team conducts daily household visits across East Sussex from our Furniture Now! stores in Eastbourne, Hailsham and Lewes.
Please note, on arrival all household collections are subject to a discretionary condition assessment by our operations team. We do ask that any item be in good working order and in a reusable state. We thank you very much for your kind donations and look forward to assisting you soon.
Household furniture
Do you have unwanted household furniture and electricals? We would be delighted to offer a free charity furniture collection service from any location in East Sussex. Items we collect include:
Sofas (with fire labels)
Chairs (including dining and lounging)
Dining tables
Bed bases (with fire labels) but NO second-hand mattresses
Wardrobes
Dressing Tables
Cupboards
Electrical & White goods
Do you have unwanted electrical items that are in good working order? Recycled white goods can be made available to families across East Sussex. Items we collect include:
Fridge freezers
Washing Machines
Tumble Dryers
Dishwashers
Lamps
Toasters
Kettles
Coffee machines
Food mixers
Audio equipment
Homeware & Bric-à-brac
Do you have unwanted homeware items, an enthusing array of novels or is it time to upgrade your living room clock? Our Furniture Now! centres stock an exciting range of smaller items, so we’d be delighted to collect any of the following items from you via our charity furniture collection service:
Bric-a-Brac
Rugs
Quilts
Bedding (clean sheets, pillows, etc)
Mirrors
Clocks
Glasses
Cutlery
Crockery
Pots and pans
Utensils

CD's and DVD's
Interesting collectible items
Items we cannot collect
Unfortunately, we are unable to collect the following items for safety reasons:
Second-hand mattresses
Cookers
American style fridge freezers
Cots, cribs, bassinets
Broken electrical appliances
