| How do I get furniture? If you need furniture, please come to one
of our warehouses in Lewes and Eastbourne (directions to warehouses), where you can choose what you like.
How much will it cost? We aim to supply things as cheaply as possible. For example, a three
piece suite can be as little as £50, a wardrobe £15, a double bed £25. Please see our Furniture Price List for
fuller details.
Can I get it delivered? We will deliver your furniture at the earliest mutually convenient
date. Delivery is free of charge.
Who can use the service? Anyone on a low income is welcome to use
our service, i.e. Income Support, JSA, WFTC, DLA, students, pensioners and people on a low wage. Please bring some evidence of your income.
Voluntary groups and organisations are also welcome to come to us for furniture.
If you are not on a low income, you are still welcome to come to us for furniture. Please note,
however, that we charge higher (but still very reasonable) prices to people who are not on low incomes.
Where does the furniture come from? The furniture we supply has been donated by members of the
public and is of a consistently high quality. We sometimes get donations such as end-of-line or catalogue returns from manufacturers.
How do I pay? Please note that we can accept only cash or cheque with a cheque card.
