Furniture Now! employs a designated NVQ Assessor who delivers NVQ’s in Customer Service and Business Administration at all Levels. NVQ’s are assessed through work-based assessments and a completion of an NVQ shows the competency of the volunteer in their chosen NVQ area.

Furniture Now! also offers Vocational Related Qualifications (VRQ) in Customer Service and Business Administration.

VRQ’s form a basis of knowledge, skill and understanding in specific job areas. Volunteers are assessed through a “taught programme”. When they reach the first of their outcomes, assessment is through a multiple answer test, which is undertaken online. When volunteers reach the end of their second outcome, assessment is through an assignment. VRQ’s require no work-based assessment.
