Case Study   Mrs B from Seaford had just moved into a new council property having escaped domestic violence. She had no furniture at all. She needed beds for her 2 children, somewhere to sit, and somewhere to put her children’s clothes. These were the minimum requirements she felt that she would be able to meet on her budget of £100.

FN! was able to supply Mrs B with 2 single beds with storage under, a double bed, table and chairs, and 2 chests of drawers. Although the cost of these items went over Mrs B’s budget by £10, we were happy to reduce it as all the furniture was being delivered to the same address. The reality is that these items were able to make a comfortable start to furnishing Mrs B’s home, leaving her free to get on with building her life again.

Case Study  Having come out of hospital after an operation Mrs C was unable to get on and off her sofa. Unable to afford to replace their suite, Mr and Mrs C came along to Furniture Now! to find a seat which would be more comfortable for her. They found a fireside chair which was extremely suitable for only £14. As they had expected to spend much more, they also bought a coffee table and upgraded their wardrobe and altogether only spent £40.
