Helpful hints
▪
Try and crush your
plastic bottles and cans before you put them out for collection.
This means you can fit more in your box and we can collect more
recycling in one go!
▪
If
you have lots of small ‘supplement’ bottles like ‘friendly
bacteria’ and vitamin drinks, put them in a bag inside your
box as this helps us sort them from the cans.
▪
Remember to take off your bottle tops as these
are dangerous to the processing staff (they can fly out of compactors and hurt the workers).
▪
Always
remember to clean your recycling or else the box gets dirty and
attracts vermin.

If it's a windy day, put a brick or something
heavy on your lid to stop it blowing away.
